My name is Mary....
Emma is my daughter and was my inspiration to pursue my passion for baking. I have always baked for family and friends, but when my daughter (who was 3 1/2 at the time), showed me some YouTube videos on how to decorate with royal icing, I realized a whole new world existed beyond the realm of my basic banana bread and shortbread cookies. In the summer of 2013, I took the Wilton Cake Decorating Courses at Michael's to learn about fondant and buttercream. I quickly realized that it was not for me...
I then stumbled into the cookie world and discovered endless possibilities to channel my creativity. Being a mom of twins, I find that life can get overwhelming. Releasing my energy into creating beautiful cookies has become therapeutic and very self rewarding.

I love these cover ups! These are very soft and pliable, they are the perfect size, and easy to clean. No more waste of parchment paper here. A must have for cookiers!

I used these to pull together then wrap a pastry block for the fridge and then to roll out pastry between two sheets. I did need a little flour as butter was sticking to the plastic but I believe they will work perfectly with cookie dough where the butter is fully incorporated.
I am happy to avoid using plastic wrap and parchment paper for these purposes.
They were easy to wash. I hope they stand up for a long time as they are a bit expensive.
