ALWAYS dissolve this meringue powder in water before using. Amount of water depends on your recipe. If you don't dissolve your meringue powder first, your royal icing will be gritty.
Ingredients: sugar, maltodextrin, corn syrup solids, dried egg white, gum Arabic, calcium lactate, modified corn starch, lactic acid, sodium aluminum sulphate, cream of tartar, citric acid, cellulose gum, locust bean gum, xanthan gum and artificial flavour.

I have never used meringue powder until being introduced to cookie decorating. This powder is so easy to use, but does take a bit of whisking to dissolve, maybe that’s normal. Besides that, it combines really nicely in the icing sugar resulting in a smooth, silky, and perfect royal icing for any desired consistency.
